About the Role
We are recruiting for an Administrator / Office Manager to join a leading Tier 1 construction contractor. This is a varied and fast-paced role where you'll provide comprehensive administrative and office support to senior management and the wider team, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
You'll work closely with multiple departments, coordinating meetings, managing diaries, organising travel, maintaining office systems, and supporting key business functions. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual who enjoys working in a busy, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day administrative support to senior management and the wider team.

Manage diaries, coordinate calendars, and schedule meetings.
*
Organise internal and external meetings, including booking meeting rooms, sending invitations, preparing agendas, and distributing supporting documentation.
*
Take meeting minutes where required and track follow-up actions.
*
Arrange travel and accommodation for employees and visitors.
*
Manage office supplies, stationery, and equipment, ensuring the office runs efficiently.
*
Welcome visitors and act as the first point of contact for the office.
*
Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other business documentation.
*
Maintain accurate filing systems, records, and company databases.
*
Support the Travel & Expenses function and assist with general office administration.
*
Assist with company events, team meetings, and other office initiatives.
*
Carry out additional administrative duties to support the wider business.
About You
You'll be an experienced Administrator, Office Manager, Team Administrator, or Office Coordinator who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys supporting multiple stakeholders.
We're looking for someone with:

Previous experience in an Administrator, Office Manager, or similar role.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Strong diary management and meeting coordination experience.
*
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
*
Confident using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and other Microsoft Office applications.
*
A proactive, professional, and collaborative approach.
Previous experience within the construction, engineering, property, or professional services sector would be advantageous but is not essential. A business administration qualification is desirable; however, relevant experience is equally valued

£30000.00 - £35000.00 per year
