How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Part Time HR Advisor (3-Month FTC)

£34,000 pro rata | 3 Days per Week | Predominantly Remote | Bristol

Are you an experienced HR Advisor looking for your next contract opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, values-driven organisation for an experienced HR professional to provide hands-on support during a busy period of organisational change.

This is a three-month fixed-term contract working three days per week (ideally Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday), predominantly remotely, with travel to the Bristol office approximately one day per week as required.

    The Role

Working closely with an experienced HR Consultant, you will provide pragmatic, commercially focused HR support, with the majority of your time dedicated to managing Employee Relations casework.

    Key responsibilities include:

    *

Managing a varied Employee Relations caseload including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management and performance issues.

    *

Providing advice and coaching to managers on HR best practice and UK employment legislation.

    *

Supporting employee consultations and organisational change activities.

    *

Assisting with TUPE and restructuring processes where required.

    *

Preparing HR documentation, letters and case files, ensuring legal compliance and consistency.

    *

Building strong relationships with managers to deliver practical HR solutions and a high-quality HR service.

    About You

    *

Previous experience in a generalist HR role with significant Employee Relations casework.

    *

Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.

    *

Experience supporting managers through complex ER matters with confidence and professionalism.

    *

Previous experience of TUPE transfers and/or organisational restructures would be advantageous.

    *

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

    *

CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) is desirable.

    *

The ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a remote team.

    What's on Offer

    *

    £34,000 pro rata.

    *

    Three-month fixed-term contract.

    *

    Three days per week.

    *

Predominantly remote working with occasional travel to Bristol (approximately one day per week).

    *

Opportunity to make an immediate impact within a collaborative and purpose-led organisation.

    *

    Immediate start available.

If you are an experienced HR professional available for your next contract and enjoy providing practical Employee Relations support within a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you
