How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join a busy HR and Organisational Development team.

In this role, you will provide timely and professional HR advice and support to managers and HR Business Partners across a wide range of people-related matters. You will support employee relations casework, workforce planning, organisational development, policy implementation, and initiatives designed to improve employee engagement and performance.

    Key responsibilities include:

Providing professional HR advice and guidance to managers on employment matters and HR policies.

Supporting employee relations cases, workplace conflict, and dispute resolution.

Advising on workforce structures, organisational change, and working practices.

Supporting the development and implementation of effective HR policies and procedures.

Contributing to workforce planning and training and development initiatives.

Working collaboratively with managers, HR colleagues, and Trade Union representatives.

Supporting HR and organisational development projects and continuous improvement activities.

Maintaining accurate records and providing HR data and insight to support effective decision-making.

Identifying HR risks and providing practical, business-focused solutions.

The successful candidate will have experience providing HR advice within a large or complex organisation, with a good understanding of employee relations, people management, workforce planning, and HR policy. CIPD membership or relevant professional development is desirable.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong IT literacy, and the ability to build effective relationships with managers and stakeholders at all levels. Experience working with Trade Unions and handling employee relations casework would be advantageous.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated HR professional looking to develop their career while making a positive impact on people, performance, and organisational culture
