Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of welcoming and supportive secondary schools across the Wirral.
Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to build your career in education, we have a range of exciting full-time opportunities available supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students both inside and outside the classroom. Responsibilities may include:
Supporting pupils with their learning on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
Assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects.
Providing additional support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), where required.
Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging student engagement.
Helping to create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for candidates who:
Have previous experience working with children or young people (school experience is desirable but not essential).
Are patient, enthusiastic and committed to supporting students to reach their full potential.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Are reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or transferable experience (preferred but not essential).
