Gleeson Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with a global logistics organisation based in Birmingham City Centre who are looking to appoint an experienced HR Administrator to join their People team on an initial temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established international business during a busy period, supporting a fast-paced HR function where no two days are the same. You'll be joining a collaborative and supportive team, providing essential HR administration across the full employee lifecycle.
The Role
Reporting into the HR team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the HR function, delivering a high-quality administrative service to both employees and stakeholders across the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the full employee lifecycle including starters, leavers and contractual changes.
Preparing contracts of employment, offer letters and HR documentation.
Maintaining accurate employee records and updating the HR system.
Managing the HR inbox and responding to employee queries.
Coordinating onboarding and pre-employment checks.
Assisting with recruitment administration and interview scheduling.
Supporting absence management administration and HR reporting.
Producing regular HR reports and maintaining personnel files.
Providing administrative support to the wider HR team and HR Business Partners.
Ensuring all processes are completed accurately and in line with company policies and employment legislation.About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
Previous experience in an HR Administration role.
Excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
The ability to manage multiple priorities within a busy environment.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office, including Excel.
A proactive approach with the confidence to work independently when required.
