Our client is recruiting for a motivated and confident Business Development Manager to join a leading automotive group and develop strong relationships with businesses across the local area.

The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and building long-term relationships with local companies.
You will manage the complete B2B sales journey, from prospecting and generating new leads through to closing deals and ensuring a seamless customer handover.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with local business customers
Identify new business opportunities and proactively build your sales pipeline
Manage the complete B2B sales process from initial enquiry through to vehicle delivery
Understand each customer's individual requirements and provide tailored vehicle and finance solutions
Develop your knowledge of the brand's product range, business leasing options, and insurance products
Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales and performance targets
Maintain accurate customer records and ensure all sales activity is recorded effectively
Deliver a professional, consultative, and customer-focused experience throughout the sales journeyAbout You

Experienced in automotive sales, ideally with a background in B2B, fleet, or business development
A confident communicator with strong influencing and negotiation skills
Able to identify opportunities and convert enquiries into long-term customer relationships
Target-driven, commercially aware, and motivated by achieving results
Organised and able to manage a busy pipeline of prospects and customers
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take ownership of their performance
