Role Overview
The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for concept generation, detailed design, and product improvement. This Mechanical Design Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies
* Produce 3D CAD models and technical drawings
* Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities
* Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams
* Identify and implement design improvements
* Ensure compliance with relevant standards and specifications
Requirements
* Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
* Proven experience in a Mechanical Design Engineer position
* Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, Inventor)
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
