We are recruiting for a Work Winning Research & Marketing Coordinator to join the Work Winning team of a leading international civil engineering and infrastructure contractor, based in West London.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong research, communication and organisational skills who enjoys identifying opportunities, gathering market intelligence and supporting business growth.
This is not a traditional sales or cold-calling Business Development role. You will work closely with the Business Development and Bid Management teams, helping to identify future opportunities, maintain key business information and support the wider work-winning strategy.
The Role
You will research the market and identify relevant opportunities, projects and prospects across the construction and infrastructure sectors.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Monitoring tender portals, industry bulletins and other sources to identify potential opportunities and prospects.
• Researching upcoming projects, clients and market activity and sharing relevant intelligence with the Business Development team.
• Supporting the development and ongoing maintenance of the company Business Plan.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date information within the CRM system, currently Salesforce.
• Researching relevant industry news, developments and content for LinkedIn and other communication channels.
• Supporting the company’s social media presence through regular and relevant industry content.
• Identifying appropriate industry events, exhibitions, conferences and awards.
• Supporting the Business Development team with preparation for and attendance at industry events and exhibitions.
• Working closely with Business Development Managers, Bid Managers, Bid Coordinators and Sector Sponsors.
About You
We are looking for someone who is naturally inquisitive, organised and confident researching and gathering information from a range of sources.
You may currently be working within work winning, bid support, marketing, market research, business intelligence, CRM coordination or a similar commercial support role.
Previous construction or infrastructure experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
You should have:
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to manage information accurately.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confidence using CRM systems; Salesforce experience would be advantageous.
• A good understanding of LinkedIn and digital/social communications.
• The ability to identify relevant market information and communicate it clearly.
• A proactive approach and genuine interest in understanding markets, projects and future opportunities.
Working Arrangements
The position is based in West London and offers a salary of £30,000 – £35,000 per annum.
Please note that this role is office based five days per week for the duration of the probationary period.
