How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Our client is hiring!

    We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing specialist fire protection company seeking an experienced Sprinkler Installation & Service Engineer to join their expanding team.

    The Role

    As a Sprinkler Installation & Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of sprinkler systems across a diverse range of commercial environments.

    You'll work on projects within:

    Hotels

    Restaurants

    Warehouses

    Retail stores

    Other commercial premises

    This is a varied role that combines both installation and servicing work, ensuring clients' fire protection systems remain fully compliant and operational.

    What's on Offer

    Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)

    25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays

    SSSTS training fully funded

    Permanent, full-time position

    The Ideal Candidate

    We're looking for someone who has:

    Previous experience installing and servicing commercial sprinkler systems.

    Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills.

    A full UK driving licence.

    A professional approach with excellent customer service skills.

    A willingness to travel into London as projects require.

    Flexibility to work away from home approximately 3-4 times per year.
