How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Support Analyst - (PSTN,Telephony & Network)

    Contract - £325-£375pd Inside IR35 | Hybrid - London, to start asap, 6 month contract

    We are currently recruiting for a Support Analyst with PSTN experience to support a key telephony and infrastructure review programme across a large London-based organisation.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a blend of technical IT knowledge, telephony experience and strong administrative skills who enjoys working across multiple sites and engaging with stakeholders to gather accurate technical information.

    The Role

    You'll play a key role in reviewing and documenting PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) services across a portfolio of sites. This will involve travelling to different locations to identify where telephone lines terminate, understand what they are used for, and document the associated equipment and connectivity.

    Working closely with business users, site contacts and technical teams, you'll ensure accurate information is captured to support a wider telephony transformation programme.

    Key Responsibilities

    Visit multiple London sites to investigate and audit PSTN telephone lines.
    Identify where telephone lines are located and determine how they are being used.
    Document connected equipment, services and dependencies.
    Engage with business users and site representatives to gather accurate information.
    Record findings and maintain detailed technical documentation.
    Support the wider telephony review and migration programme.
    Liaise with internal IT teams and third-party suppliers where required.
    Assist with basic networking, IP phone configuration and connectivity investigations.

    Essential Skills & Experience

    Experience working within an IT support, infrastructure or telephony environment.
    Good understanding of telephony technologies, with knowledge of PSTN is a must
    Networking knowledge including IP networking and patching.
    Experience configuring or supporting IP phones
    Strong investigative and problem-solving skills.
    Excellent administration and documentation skills with a high level of accuracy.
    Confident communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    Able to work independently and travel between multiple London sites.If you have a combination of IT support, networking and telephony experience, along with excellent communication skills and enjoy working across different locations, we'd love to hear from you.
