Salary: £19.19 per hour (£39,915.20 per annum) + £25 per week shift allowance
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm - 12:00am
Holiday: 24 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
We're looking for an experienced Senior Production Team Leader to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment on a permanent PM shift. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong people leader who thrives in production and is looking to progress into a Shift Manager role in the future.
Working closely with the Shift Manager, you'll play a key role in leading multiple production teams, supporting Team Leaders and ensuring production targets, quality standards and health & safety requirements are achieved.
The Role
As Senior Production Team Leader, you will:
Support the Shift Manager with the day-to-day running of the production operation.
Lead, coach and develop Production Team Leaders to achieve operational excellence.
Act as the first point of escalation for production issues, helping to minimise downtime.
Monitor production performance and coordinate labour and resources effectively.
Deputise for the Shift Manager when required.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality and efficiency.
Build strong working relationships across departments to ensure smooth operations.
About You
You'll ideally have:
Previous experience in a Team Leader or Senior Team Leader position within a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
The ability to motivate, coach and develop teams.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
