How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    As a 2nd line Support Analyst, you'll oversee the day-to-day management and maintenance of IT systems, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently. This role is essential in supporting the technology needs of the business and resolving any system-related issues promptly.

    Description

    Manage and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
    Monitor system activities and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise.
    Collaborate with the Technology department to implement system upgrades and improvements.
    Support users with technical queries and provide solutions in a timely manner.
    Ensure data integrity and maintain system security protocols.
    Document system processes and create user guides where required.
    Coordinate with external vendors for system-related support and services.
    Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend upgrades to existing systems.Profile

    Experience providing first and second-line IT support within a business environment, including the management and resolution of incidents, service requests, and technical issues.
    Experience using an IT Service Management (ITSM) platform, to manage incidents, requests, changes, and asset records.
    Experience maintaining accurate IT asset and configuration records, including hardware deployment, tracking, and lifecycle administration.
    Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and associated technologies, including Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Azure, and other cloud-based services.
    Experience supporting end-user devices, enterprise applications, and collaboration tools within a corporate environment.
    Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across desktop, mobile, cloud, and network services.
    Experience maintaining technical documentation, procedures, knowledge-based articles, and user guidance materials.
    Experience working with third-party suppliers and support providers to assist with incident resolution and service delivery.

    Job Offer

    A salary ranging from £36000 to £40000, dependent on the level of experience.
    A permanent position within the Technology & Telecoms industry.
    Hybrid working 2 days onsite in Harrogate
