How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Programme Director (Construction / Property)

    This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Programme Director to join a highly respected real estate consultancy, leading a landmark multi-year national remediation programme covering approximately 400 commercial and mixed-use assets across the UK.

    This established consultancy has grown from a three-person practice into a national business of over 250 employees across 14 offices. Operating across the commercial, industrial and real estate sectors, they work with many of the UK's leading institutional investors and major occupiers, delivering high-profile programmes for prestigious blue-chip clients. As an Employee Ownership Trust and B Corp certified business, they continue to invest heavily in their people while expanding their national presence.

    In this role, you will take full responsibility for delivering a complex, multi-year programme covering around 400 buildings nationwide. Acting as the senior representative to the client, you will oversee programme governance, commercial performance, multidisciplinary delivery teams and strategic stakeholder relationships while ensuring successful delivery across all workstreams.

    The ideal candidate will have significant programme leadership experience within construction, property or the built environment, exceptional commercial and governance expertise, and the ability to build trusted relationships at executive and board level.

    This is a rare opportunity to lead one of the UK's most significant property programmes while joining one of the industry's most respected consultancies on a high-profile long-term assignment.

    The Role

    Leading the delivery of a complex nationwide remediation programme covering approximately 400 assets
    Acting as the senior client representative and primary strategic contact
    Managing multidisciplinary teams including Project Managers, Building Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors, Engineers and technical specialists
    Overseeing programme governance, reporting, budgets and commercial performance
    Building and maintaining executive-level client relationships
    Driving programme performance across multiple concurrent workstreams
    Hybrid working with travel across the UK as requiredThe Person

    Extensive programme leadership experience within construction, property or programme delivery
    Experience managing large, multi-building, multi-stakeholder programmes
    Strong commercial, governance and programme control expertise
    Excellent board-level client relationship management skills
    Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams
    MAPM qualified
    Happy to travel nationally as required
