How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Electrical Supervisor / Electrical Site Manager

    We are recruiting for an experienced electrical professional to join a major wastewater treatment project, supporting the Project Manager with the successful delivery of electrical installation works on site.

    Key responsibilities include:

    * Supporting the Project Manager with the delivery of electrical works.

    * Reviewing and managing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).

    * Coordinating testing, inspection and commissioning activities.

    * Monitoring site quality and ensuring installations comply with specifications.

    * Managing subcontractors and liaising with site teams.

    * Carrying out site inspections and resolving technical issues.

    * Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with health, safety and quality procedures.

    * Working closely with commissioning and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.

    About You

    We are keen to speak with candidates from a practical site background, including:

    * Electrical Site Manager

    * Electrical Supervisor

    * Electrical Foreman

    * MEICA Supervisor

    * Electrical Project Engineer

    * Senior Authorised Person (SAP)

    You'll ideally have:

    * Strong electrical installation experience on industrial or process sites.

    * Previous experience on water or wastewater treatment projects (highly desirable).

    * Excellent knowledge of ITPs, inspection processes and testing plans.

    * Experience supporting commissioning activities.

    * A proactive approach and the confidence to coordinate multiple work fronts.

    * Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with contractors, engineers and the client team.

    Desirable Experience

    * Wastewater or water treatment projects.

    * MEICA installation.

    * LV/HV electrical systems.

    * MCCs, switchgear and industrial control systems.

    * Industrial process environments such as water, energy, utilities, manufacturing or chemical plants.
