How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Technical Sales Executive

    Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 DOE + BMW 330e Hybrid Company Car + Phone + Laptop

    Location: Wrexham

    Contract: Permanent, Full Time (37 hours per week)

    An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly successful and award-winning UK manufacturing business that designs, manufactures and exports specialist products used on major construction and infrastructure projects around the world.

    With products supplied into more than 30 countries and a reputation for quality, innovation and service, the company continues to grow and is seeking an ambitious Technical Sales Executive to support its expanding customer base.

    This role would suit a driven sales professional looking to develop a long-term career in technical sales, with opportunities for UK and international travel and a clearly defined progression path.

    The Role:

    Working closely with the Sales Manager, you will be involved in managing customer enquiries, developing relationships with existing clients and identifying opportunities with prospective customers.

    Following a structured training programme, you will develop the technical knowledge required to confidently present and demonstrate products to customers both in the UK and overseas.

    Key Responsibilities

    Respond to and follow up sales enquiries
    Develop relationships with existing and prospective customers
    Qualify leads and identify new business opportunities
    Arrange and attend customer meetings
    Demonstrate technical products and associated tools
    Support account growth and maximise sales revenue
    Maintain accurate customer records and activity reports
    Represent the business professionally at customer sites and industry events
    As your experience develops, the role will involve regular travel throughout the UK and, ultimately, Europe.

    About You

    You will be commercially minded, enthusiastic and capable of building strong relationships with customers. Previous experience selling products or services is essential, although full product training will be provided.

    Essential Requirements

    Previous sales experience with a proven ability to generate results
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    Confidence presenting products and solutions to customers
    Strong telephone and relationship-building abilities
    Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
    Full UK driving licence
    Willingness to travel when required
    Desirable

    Experience selling technical, engineering, industrial or construction-related products
    Exposure to manufacturing, engineering or construction sectors
    French or another European language
    Experience demonstrating technical products or equipment
    Hours of Work

    Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm

    Friday: 8:30am - 4:30pm
