We're looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a talented team responsible for introducing and supporting the manufacture of complex electromechanical products.
You'll play a key role in New Product Introduction (NPI), Design for Manufacture, Continuous Improvement and Manufacturing Engineering strategy, ensuring products transition smoothly from design into production.
The role
Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers.
Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
Develop and optimise manufacturing processes.
Support Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
Lead Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma improvement projects.
Support Production, Supply Chain and Engineering teams.
Drive PFMEA, Root Cause Analysis and 8D problem solving.
Manage manufacturing documentation including BOMs, work instructions and testing procedures.
About you
You'll ideally have experience within:
Manufacturing Engineering leadership.
Low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing.
Electromechanical products.
PCB-based assemblies.
Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Continuous Improvement.
NPI and process development.
Cross-functional stakeholder management.
