How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Produce quotations for additional works and small projects following engineer site visits.
Manage service contracts, ensuring all planned visits are completed on time, to the required standard and within budget.
Oversee contract renewals and maintain strong customer relationships.
Ensure all Health & Safety documentation, including RAMS, is maintained and engineers and subcontractors remain fully compliant.
Lead and support the Service Desk, ensuring accurate job logging, tracking and completion.
Manage, coach and develop field service engineers, carrying out performance reviews and audits.
Build and manage a reliable subcontractor network, ensuring quality, compliance and value for money.
Act as the main point of escalation for customer issues, resolving complaints professionally and effectively.
Monitor labour, parts and subcontractor costs to ensure accurate job costing and commercial performance.
Track and report on service KPIs, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including F-Gas regulations and Health & Safety requirements.

    What We're Looking For

Essential background within the HVAC and/or Refrigeration industry.
Previous experience in a Service Supervisor, Service Manager or Engineering Management role.
Proven experience managing field-based service engineers.
Strong planning, scheduling and organisational skills.
Commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and costs.
    Excellent communication and leadership skills.
A proactive approach with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

    Why Join Us

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking business where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and improving service delivery.
