Key Responsibilities:
Manage the cost aspects of a range of projects
Prepare and review detailed cost plans, bills of quantities, and contract documentation.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate cost assessments and manage project budgets.
Provide cost control and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor and manage contract performance and ensure projects are completed within budget.
Assist with value engineering, cost forecasting, and risk management.
Negotiate contract terms and pricing with subcontractors and suppliers.
Ensure timely submission of applications for payments and valuations.
Advise on contractual disputes and assist with final accounts.Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the drylining or construction industry.
Strong understanding of drylining systems, materials, and construction processes.
Experience working with contract documents, cost plans, and project specifications.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience managing projects ranging from £150k to £15m.
