How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Site Manager – Traditional Build Residential
    Adstock, Buckinghamshire
    £290 – £300 per day
Immediate Start | 3-Month Contract with Further Work Available

    The Headlines
Take over a high-end 5-unit traditional build residential development with around 3 months remaining.
Privately owned contractor delivering projects in-house from groundworks through to completion.
Opportunity to move straight onto the company's next residential scheme in Ockley, Surrey following completion.
£290 - £300 per day (CIS/Ltd). The Role – What You'll Be Doing An established residential contractor is looking for an experienced Site Manager to take over an existing high-end residential development in Adstock, Buckinghamshire.

The project is well underway, with approximately three months left until completion. You'll be responsible for taking control of the site, maintaining programme, managing subcontractors and direct labour, ensuring quality standards are met and driving the project through to a successful handover.
This is very much a "hit the ground running" position, suited to someone who can quickly assess where the project is, build relationships with the site team and keep everything moving smoothly through the final stages.

Once this project is complete, there is a strong possibility of moving directly onto the company's next traditional build residential scheme in Ockley, Surrey. This is approximately a two-hour drive from Adstock, so applicants should be comfortable with that location if they are looking for ongoing work.

The Company – Who You'll Be Working For This privately owned contractor has built an excellent reputation for delivering quality traditional build residential developments throughout the South East.

Rather than operating as a volume housebuilder, they focus on smaller, well-managed schemes where quality and attention to detail come first. They self-deliver key elements of the construction process and maintain a close-knit management team, giving Site Managers the autonomy to run their sites properly while receiving support when needed.

    What They're Looking For
Previous experience managing traditional build residential developments.
Able to take over a live project and confidently see it through to completion.
Strong knowledge of health & safety, programme management and quality control.
    Good communication and leadership skills.
SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS are essential. What's On Offer
    £290 - £300 per day.
    Immediate start.
Around 3 months' work on the current project.
Opportunity to continue onto the next scheme in Ockley, Surrey.
Stable pipeline of work with a respected privately owned contractor. To Apply
    Apply via the job board.
