We're recruiting dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistants to work across Secondary Schools in Newport. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants or candidates with transferable skills who are looking to build a career in education.

The Role

📚 Support pupils in lessons across a range of subjects
👥 Work with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
🌟 Encourage positive behaviour and engagement with learning
🤝 Support pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs where required
📝 Work closely with teachers to help pupils reach their full potential

Who We're Looking For

✅ Experience working with children or young people is essential (work, placement or volunteering)
✅ Confident, resilient and adaptable approach
✅ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
✅ Welsh-speaking desirable but not essential
✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
