The successful candidate will work closely with partners and senior finance stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and timely processing of partner-related accounting matters.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile partner capital accounts, drawings, profit allocations, and tax reserves.
Prepare and post partner-related journals and ledger entries.
Support partner profit share calculations and distribution processing.
Manage partner current accounts and ensure records are accurate and up to date.
Assist with partner tax reserve calculations and reporting.
Liaise with partners, senior stakeholders, and external advisers on partnership accounting matters.
Support regular and year-end partner remuneration processes.
Work closely with finance and tax teams to ensure consistency of reporting and controls.
Assist with cash flow, forecasting, and ad hoc partnership finance projects.
Contribute to process improvements across partnership accounting.Candidate Profile
Experience in partnership accounting, partner matters, or a similar law firm finance role.
Strong understanding of partner capital, drawings, distributions, and tax reserve accounting.
Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is highly desirable.
Excellent attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills.
Confident communicating with partners and senior stakeholders.
Able to manage deadlines, maintain confidentiality, and work accurately under pressure.
Strong Excel skills and experience with finance systems
Must be Fully Qualified in ACA , ACCA, CIMA or Equivalent
