How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    SWRP are recruiting on behalf of a well‑established legal firm for a Junior Legal Administrator to join their Tax team in Nottingham.

    The Role

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take their first step into the legal profession. Working within a specialist Tax team, you'll provide administrative support while learning from experienced professionals and developing valuable legal knowledge.

    The firm is particularly keen to hear from ambitious and organised individuals who are eager to learn. Previous legal experience is not required, making this an ideal opportunity for an A‑Level leaver, graduate, or someone looking to begin a career within professional services.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Provide administrative support to the Tax team

    * Prepare correspondence, documents, and reports

    * Manage client files and maintain accurate records

    * Liaise with clients and third parties via telephone and email

    * Conduct basic research and gather information as required

    * Draft routine correspondence and documentation

    * Support fee earners with the progression of client matters

    * Undertake general office administration duties

    About You

    * Strong written and verbal communication skills

    * Excellent attention to detail

    * Organised and able to manage a varied workload

    * Confident using Microsoft Office

    * Eager to learn and develop new skills

    * Professional and proactive approach
