Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage design projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Oversee the design of civil/electrical systems and equipment.
Develop and implement overall strategies and solutions across a geographical GSP (Grid Supply Point).
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project integration and success.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
Prepare technical input to tender returns.
Responsible for ensuring compliance to design via Quality Assurance.
Ensuring projects remain compliant with NEC3 contract requirement.Who We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a senior civil or electrical engineering role.
Relevant qualifications in Engineering or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of civil/electrical systems, regulations, and industry best practices.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to project challenges.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders.
Experience with relevant software and tools used in electrical design and project management.
Experience in NEC3 Contracts.
Understanding of DNO/TNO networks and processes
Salary description
£75000.00 - £85000.00 per year
