Position Overview:
As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in supporting daily production operations across the site. Roles are available in multiple departments including Blending, Machine Operation, and Logistics, offering the chance to work in a role that best suits your skills, background, and interests. This is a temporary position with the genuine possibility of a permanent role for the right candidates.
You will need to be flexible, hands-on, and capable of adapting to a fast-moving production environment. Whether you're just beginning your career or have prior experience in a manufacturing setting, this is a great opportunity to grow with a forward-thinking business.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a range of production machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Monitor and maintain product quality throughout the production process
Assist with line setup, materials handling, and general production duties
Use computer systems to accurately log production data and follow job instructions
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with Health & Safety regulations
Demonstrate flexibility by rotating between tasks and departments as required by the business
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or machine operative role is essential
IT literacy – comfortable using digital systems for data entry and instructions
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward work
A dependable team player with a strong work ethic
Physically fit and capable of working 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule
Willingness to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays where required
