How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Group Business Development Manager – Central Sales Team (Remote)

Excellent salary based on experience and what you bring to the table Remote (UK-wide)

At Gi Group Holding, we create impact.

We’re looking for a Group Business Development Manager to join our Group Corporate Sales Team — someone who sees opportunity not as a number, but as a solution that changes how businesses work and people thrive.

    What We’re Looking For:

You’ll shape workforce strategies, not chase signatures.

    You’ll build relationships, not pipelines.

You’ll represent a trusted global group, backed by expertise that spans recruitment, talent development and career transition.

Bring your insight. Your curiosity. Your consultative flair.
    We’ll help make it count.
Join a global organisation that’s reshaping the future of work — responsibly, humanly, together.

Group Business Development Manager Responsibilities (but not limited to)

Reporting into the Business Development Director you will identify new prospects and opportunities that match the key strategies within the group in order to develop new business and drive growth.

In our corporate sales function, you will identify key decision-makers & influential stakeholders in order to build positive and persuasive relationships identifying where the business can add the most value.

As someone with an in-depth understanding of all Gi Group brands and their key specialisms you will act as the main entry point for our internal teams to some of the Worlds biggest and most influential organisations

You’ll need to build a key prospect and pipeline list, manage your time effectively and work autonomously.

You will focus on large spend accounts and volume opportunities in order to achieve both KPI and sales targets whilst also playing a key role in one of the company’s most successful teams.

You will prospect clients and attend client meetings both face to face and remotely in order to promote the Gi Group services.

You will be delivering customer presentations confidently and lead tenders from start to finish, liaising where necessary with SMT & EMT members.
Skills and attributes required for the Group Business Development Manager

Proven sales record within a recruitment background focusing on volume opportunities.

Good understanding of winning new business and achieving revenue growth against target.

Experience in the end-to-end tender process would be an advantage, but not essential.

You will be an excellent communicator, able to adapt your approach for different people and have a chat with anyone & remain calm under pressure.

Strong negotiations skills, with the ability to influence confidently across all levels.

    Friendly and highly personable

    Flexible and resilient

Confident, with a ‘Can do’ positive attitude.

Self-Belief - to make things happen even if timelines are tight.

    Tenacious – doesn’t give up.

    Diplomatic and tactful

A collaborative style, listening to others and bringing people with you
