How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    A leading facilities management organisation is looking for a Backlog & Works Administrator to join its team on a 5-month temporary contract. Working remotely, you'll play a key role in managing maintenance backlogs, coordinating contractors and ensuring planned and reactive works are delivered within contractual timescales.

    Remote | 5-Month Temporary Contract

    The Role As the Backlog & Works Administrator, you will:

    Support the day-to-day management of maintenance backlogs across PPM, Reactive, Corrective and Billable Works.
    Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring works are completed within agreed SLAs and contractual timescales.
    Liaise with contractors to obtain quotations, availability updates and completion information.
    Coordinate contractor attendance and ensure all site access arrangements are in place.
    Process and manage quotations for review and approval.
    Ensure approved quotations are accurately recorded and linked to the relevant work orders.
    Maintain accurate records and provide administrative support to ensure the smooth delivery of maintenance activities. About You To be successful in this role, you'll have:

    Previous experience in an administration, scheduling, planning or coordination role.
    Experience within Facilities Management, Property Services, Engineering, Maintenance, Construction or a similar operational environment.
    Experience coordinating planned and reactive maintenance activities.
    Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise a high volume of work.
    Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with contractors and internal stakeholders.
