How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Outstanding Primary School | Clapham, Lambeth September 2026 Start Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting new opportunity within an Outstanding primary school?
    We are working in partnership with a highly regarded and welcoming primary school in the heart of Clapham, Lambeth, seeking to appoint two dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their exceptional team from September 2026.
    The school will be conducting trials and interviews during the first week back after the summer holidays, so early applications are strongly encouraged.
    Vacancy 1: KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant (Year 1) This rewarding role will involve providing 1:1 support for a pupil with Autism (ASC) within a Year 1 classroom.
    The successful candidate will:
    Have previous experience supporting pupils with Autism (ASC).
    Have strong SEN knowledge and a nurturing approach.
    Be confident delivering and reinforcing Year 1 Phonics interventions.
    Support the pupil's academic, social and emotional development.
    Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and parents.
    Be proactive, patient and committed to helping every child achieve their full potential.Vacancy 2: EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant We are also seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
    The successful candidate will:
    Have previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
    Have a strong understanding of EYFS development and learning.
    Support children's communication, social interaction and early learning skills.
    Build positive relationships with children, staff and families.
    Be enthusiastic, caring and passionate about inclusion.Candidate Requirements For both positions, applicants must:

    Have previous SEN Teaching Assistant experience within a primary school setting.
    Hold a strong academic background.
    Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Be patient, adaptable and resilient.
    Demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
