This is an exciting opportunity for a confident classroom practitioner who can inspire pupils, lead by example, and help guide a successful Year 6 team through an important stage of their primary education. The school is seeking a positive role model who can build strong relationships with pupils, maintain high expectations, and foster a culture of respect, resilience, and achievement.

### The Role:

* Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
* Lead the Year 6 team, supporting colleagues and contributing to effective year group planning.
* Prepare pupils for SATs while maintaining a broad, engaging, and enjoyable curriculum.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, ensuring every child is supported to reach their full potential.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
* Work collaboratively with senior leaders, colleagues, and parents to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.

### The Ideal Candidate:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Proven experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.
* Previous leadership experience or the ambition to step into a Year Group Lead role.
* Strong classroom management and high expectations for behaviour and learning.
* A confident, resilient, and approachable leader who leads by example.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
* A genuine passion for helping children succeed both academically and personally.
