Accounts Manager

The Company:

A fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager to join an established and leading fashion supplier of ladies, mens and childrenswear. This role would suit an ambitious candidate who has worked in a similar Account management role with a strong understanding of Merchandising, Product Development or Design.

You will be responsible for developing existing accounts through the initiation and development of new product ranges to meet the commercial requirements of customers as well as developing new business within this product area.

The Role:

* Maintaining accounts with various high street retailers working predominantly with hosiery products.

* Presenting and selling company products and services to current and potential clients.

* Following up on new leads and referrals to obtain new business where possible.

* Organising and attending meetings with Buyers.

* Negotiation of sales/cost prices, lead times and delivery dates with retailers and factories.

* Identifying and resolving client concerns.

* Participating in marketing events such as trade shows

* Managing budgets, deadlines and achieving targets.

* Providing accurate status reports of existing accounts and new clients.

Skills Required:

* Must have previous account management OR worked as a Merchandiser managing accounts and seeking new challenge.

* A minimum of 1 year working within a ladieswear fast fashion Supplier – experience range from 1 year to 5 years

* A fashion background

* Strong negotiation skills.

* Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
