How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    SEN Teaching Assistant – Greenwich | September 2026 Start Location: Greenwich, Southeast London

    Salary: £90–£100 per day (Depending on experience)
    Contract: Full-Time | Term Time Only
    Start Date: September 2026

    Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity this September?

    Education Matters Group is seeking a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Greenwich.

    This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference by supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and helping them thrive both academically and socially.

    The Role
    Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.
    Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
    Support students with their learning, emotional wellbeing, and social development.
    Implement EHCP targets and behaviour support strategies where required.
    Foster a positive, safe, and nurturing learning environment. The Ideal Candidate
    Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting.
    A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
    Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one). What We Offer
