How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – High-Profile Trophy Building, City of London – Up to £48,000

    Exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based within a high-profile trophy commercial building in the heart of the City of London. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work on this prestigious static site, carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across all building services systems.

    The successful candidate will be electrically qualified with a strong background in commercial building maintenance, ideally with an electrical bias. This is a great opportunity to join a well-respected FM provider offering plenty of overtime, further training, and excellent long-term career progression.

    In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £48,000, depending on experience.

    Hours of Work:

    Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:00
    No Call Out
    Plenty of Overtime AvailableKey Duties & Responsibilities:

    Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and building services systems
    Lighting installations, fault-finding, lamp changes, and ballast replacements
    Emergency lighting testing and maintenance
    Monitor and maintain control panels
    Monitor the BMS system, including heating and cooling
    Maintain and update site logbooks
    Minor plumbing works, including unblocking toilets
    General maintenance of pumps and motorsPackage:

    Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum
