How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Role: Electrical Delivery Integration Engineer

    Location: Bridgwater - SDC

    Duration: Ongoing Contract

    Pay: £415 p/d PAYE + 36 days annual leave // £564 p/d Umbrella

    The Opportunity

Rullion is recruiting for an electrically biased Delivery Integration Engineer to support the delivery of one of the UK's largest and most complex infrastructure projects at Hinkley Point C.

Working within the Delivery Integration function, you will support the Senior Area Integration Engineer in developing credible and deliverable construction sequences. The team operates ahead of site delivery, typically reviewing activities beyond the 16-week implementation window to identify and resolve constraints before they affect construction.

This position requires a strong understanding of electrical construction, project planning and multidisciplinary interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.

    Key Responsibilities

As the Electrical Delivery Integration Engineer, you will:

Review and develop electrical construction and installation sequences from manufacturing completion through to installation, testing and commissioning.
Ensure planned electrical activities are achievable alongside associated civil, mechanical, instrumentation and commissioning works.
Support the integration of electrical systems including:
    HV and LV distribution.
Switchgear, transformers and motor control centres.
    Cable containment and cable routing.
    Earthing and bonding systems.
    Electrical building services and lighting.
Electrical interfaces with instrumentation, control and mechanical systems.
Review Primavera P6 schedules to identify sequencing conflicts, dependencies and delivery risks.
Interrogate 3D and 4D models using tools such as Navisworks and Synchro.
Assess readiness to commence work, including the availability of:
    Approved design information.
    Materials and equipment.
    Labour and specialist resources.
    Access, lifting and logistics arrangements.
    Work packs and installation documentation.
    Testing and commissioning requirements.
Identify and support the resolution of construction "hotspots" that could affect key project milestones.
Coordinate interfaces between engineering, project management, planning, procurement, construction, logistics, commissioning and site operations.
Provide oversight of Delivery Work Pack and Interface Data Sheet processes.
Analyse and present project information using Excel, PowerPoint, databases and Power BI.
Support collaborative, best-for-project decisions across multiple contractors, disciplines and work areas.
Promote a strong safety culture, quality performance and right-first-time delivery.

    Essential Experience and Qualifications

Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
Applications may also be considered from candidates with substantial relevant project experience in place of a formal degree.
Demonstrable experience delivering complex engineering or construction projects.
Strong electrical construction, installation or project engineering experience.
Understanding of the integration between engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning.
Ability to review project schedules and identify sequencing, interface and readiness risks.
Experience using Primavera P6 or confidently interrogating P6 schedules.
Experience working with 3D model interrogation tools such as Navisworks.
Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint capability.
Excellent stakeholder-management, communication and influencing skills.
Ability to analyse complex information and drive practical resolutions across multidisciplinary teams.

    Desirable Experience

Previous nuclear construction or nuclear new-build experience.
Experience within another highly regulated environment, including power generation, oil and gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, rail or major infrastructure.
Experience with Synchro or another 4D planning platform.
    Power BI or project-database experience.
Knowledge of electrical installation, testing, commissioning and handover processes.
Construction health and safety qualification, such as IOSH Managing Safely.
Experience coordinating multiple contractors across congested construction areas.
Understanding of work-package readiness, system turnover and commissioning dependencies.
