How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Are you highly organised, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for an Events Operations Coordinator to join a small but busy team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, supporting the planning and delivery of large-scale corporate events.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves keeping projects on track, enjoys juggling multiple priorities, and takes pride in delivering exceptional experiences behind the scenes.

    What you'll be doing:

Supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of large corporate events.
Managing event logistics, timelines, and operational plans.
Coordinating suppliers, venues, and event partners.
Assisting with delegate management, travel, accommodation, and event communications.
Maintaining accurate project documentation and tracking key milestones.
Providing on-site operational support during events where required.
Working closely with the wider team to ensure every event runs smoothly from start to finish.

    We're looking for someone who:

Is exceptionally organised with outstanding attention to detail.
Can confidently manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a busy environment.
Is proactive, adaptable, and enjoys solving problems.
Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Works well independently while also being a supportive team player.
Has experience coordinating events, projects, or operations (corporate events experience is an advantage).
Is confident using Microsoft Office and event management systems (or is quick to learn new platforms)
