TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of welcoming Welsh-medium primary schools across the Cardiff area. These schools are committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop academically, socially and through the Welsh language.
We are looking to recruit a Welsh Medium Learning Support Assistant on a temporary, part-time basis starting in September. The successful Welsh Medium Learning Support Assistant will support pupils across a range of primary age groups, working alongside class teachers within different welsh-medium primary school to provide high-quality classroom support while communicating confidently through the medium of Welsh.
The successful Welsh Medium Learning Support Assistant will have:
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or relevant classroom experience
Welsh as a first or second language with the ability to confidently communicate through the medium of Welsh
Experience supporting children within a UK primary school
A positive and proactive approach to supporting pupils' learning and wellbeing
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility and reliability
