How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Neurodevelopmental assessment | Multidisciplinary working | Flexible hours | Meaningful family impact

    Use your paediatric OT expertise to shape better diagnostic outcomes as a CYP Occupational Therapist. This Occupational Therapist Assessor role focuses on understanding how sensory processing and functional needs affect children’s everyday lives.

    You will have clinical autonomy within a supportive MDT, with full-time or part-time options and agreed hybrid working. As a CYP Occupational Therapist, your professional judgement will directly inform evidence-based decisions.

    Package & Benefits

    • £45,000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.

    • Permanent full-time or part-time hours, Monday to Friday.

    • Agreed hybrid working for suitable pathway activity.

    About the Company

    This clinician-led community healthcare provider delivers governed neurodevelopmental assessment pathways. Its collaborative teams focus on safe practice, clear outcomes and practical recommendations for children and families.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Complete specialist functional and sensory assessments within autism and ADHD pathways.

    • Gather evidence from families, education settings and clinical records.

    • Contribute CYP Occupational Therapist expertise to MDT diagnostic decisions.

    • Produce clear reports and practical, neurodiversity-affirming recommendations.

    About You

    • Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.

    • Significant post-qualification experience within paediatrics, CAMHS or neurodevelopmental services.

    • Experience completing functional or sensory assessments within CYP pathways.
