How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Programme Manager

    About the Role

    An experienced, commercially astute Programme Manager is required by a leading Aerospace component manufacturer to take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of assigned programmes and product families throughout the full product lifecycle.

    This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing complex programmes, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring delivery of business, technical, commercial, and customer objectives.

    The role entails leading multi-disciplinary teams, manage programme risks, driving continuous improvement, and acting as the primary point of contact for key customers and internal stakeholders.

    Specific duties include taking ownership of assigned programmes and/or product families, ensuring successful delivery against agreed business objectives from inception through to end of life, establishing and delivering against clear programme objectives, reviewing business cases, mitigating risks, chairing programme reviews, managing commercial relationships and promoting a continuous improvement culture.

    Our client requires a degree qualified Engineer with proven Programme or Project management experience in the aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or engineering sectors.

    Additionsal requited attributes include a strong understanding of project management methodologies, well developed leadership skills, strong communication and stakeholder management experience and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
