How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

In this role you will be required to support teams and individuals to develop their day-to-day practice to a level that maintains high fidelity adherence and best practice as the expected standard. You will ensure that all teams are ‘fidelity review ready’ at all times, where the high-quality service delivers excellent outcomes for clients and employers. Perks and benefits:

Interest-free loans: assistance with larger costs that arise such as tenancy deposits, season travel tickets or buying a car.

Access to the Easit Network: discounts and incentives on train, bus and car journeys such as 15% off eligible daily and season rail tickets.

Blue Light card: access to discount services for the social care sector with savings across thousands of online shops, restaurants, and high-street vendors.

Free advice and counselling service: confidential emotional support and practical guidance from our independent telephone service.

25 days paid holiday plus bank holidays.

Experience of IPS fidelity review process

Experience of delivering target driven services with emphasis on high performance

Knowledge of mental health services and how employment supports mental health recovery work

Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders

Excellent attention to detail to drive high quality service delivery

A Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which will be paid for by  Southdown

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

    What would be nice:
Understanding of NHS clinical governance structures.

    Training:

You’ll receive an initial induction, followed by regular in person training and supervisions to invest in your development and provide all the tools needed to succeed in this role. We’ll help you to gain valuable experience, continually develop your skills and build a great career with the largest provider of housing, care and support in Sussex.
