This organisation is a leading, technology-driven electronics manufacturer, operating at the forefront of innovation, automation, and advanced production processes. As they continue to grow, I am looking for a highly motivated and experienced HSE Officer to help maintain the highest standards of workplace safety, environmental compliance, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
The suitable candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring health, safety, and environmental programmes across the manufacturing site. Working closely with managers, employees, and external stakeholders, you will ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company standards while driving a positive safety culture throughout the business.
Salary: Up to £50,000.00
Contract: Permanent
Hours Monday – Thursday 8.30am -5pm Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm

Responsibilities:
* To develop and maintain a business management system to address the requirements of ISO14001
* Track, analyse, and report HSE performance to management
* Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce workplace risks
* To support with the introduction of programs which may arise through customers and market needs such as ISO 45001 and ISO 50001
* Manage internal HSE audits
* Monitor and maintain environmental management systems, waste management processes, and sustainability initiatives
* Support the development and management of the HSE committee to provide an engaged environmental and H&S management system
* Maintain accurate HSE records, documentation, and statutory reports
* Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce workplace risks
Requirements:
* Previous Lead Auditor training in 1 or more of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
* Previous experience within a manufacturing / engineering environment
* NEBOSH qualified
* Skilled in Microsoft office, data handling and analysis
* Expertise in conducting risk assessments, investigations, inspections and audits
* NEBOSH Environmental Management certificate (desirable)
* NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate (desirable)
