How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Health and Safety Manager – RC Frame
    London & U.K.
    £70,000 - £80,000 + Package / Benefits

    About the Company
    Our client is a respected groundworks and reinforced concrete frame contractor operating across London, the South East, Midlands and Scotland.
    The business delivers residential and commercial projects for leading main contractors and developers, with a strong reputation for completing projects safely, on programme and within budget.
    Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Health and Safety Manager to support their London projects.
    About the Role
    Working closely with the senior management and operational teams, you will be responsible for maintaining high health and safety standards across multiple groundworks and RC frame
    projects.
    Roles and responsibilities include:
    * Conducting regular site inspections and audits.
    * Reviewing risk assessments, method statements and construction documentation.
    * Providing health and safety guidance to site teams and subcontractors.
    * Delivering toolbox talks and safety briefings.
    * Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions.
    * Monitoring compliance with company, client and legislative requirements.
    * Promoting a positive health and safety culture across the business.
    About the Requirements
    * NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
    * Previous health and safety experience within groundworks or RC frame construction.
    * Experience working on residential or commercial projects.
    * Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
    * Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    * Willingness to travel between projects across London.
