How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Key Responsibilities:

Lead major capital projects throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop project strategies, business cases and investment proposals.
Manage project scope, budgets, schedules and risk programmes.
Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and external partners.
Oversee engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality and regulatory standards.
Provide clear reporting and governance to senior leadership teams.
Drive project performance, value creation and continuous improvement.
    What They're Looking For:

Degree qualified in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Significant experience delivering large-scale capital projects within an industrial environment.
Strong understanding of project governance, commercial management and risk assessment.
Experience managing complex stakeholder groups across multiple functions.
Proven ability to lead projects involving engineering, construction and operational teams.
    Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen.
Ability to operate effectively within fast-paced, complex organisations.
Ideal Sector Backgrounds: Cement, Quarrying, Aggregates, Petrochemicals, Steel & Metals.
    Why Apply?

    Work on industry-leading, high-value projects.
Be part of a business investing heavily in future growth and innovation.
Opportunity to influence strategic decisions at a senior level.
    Hybrid working environment.
    Competitive salary and benefits package.
Long-term career development within a growing international organisation.
If you have a proven track record of delivering major capital projects within engineering, manufacturing, energy, construction or other industrial sectors, we'd be keen to speak with you. In return, you'll have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, influence key business decisions, and build your career within a forward-thinking organisation committed to long-term investment and growth.
