How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Supply Teacher - Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire

Every teacher has their own reasons for choosing supply. Whether you're looking for flexibility, variety or the opportunity to experience different settings, this Supply Teacher position allows you to focus on delivering high-quality lessons without the additional workload of planning and marking.

A number of schools across Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire are seeking engaging educators to work within Primary, Secondary, SEN and Alternative Provision settings. Subject specialist opportunities are available alongside general classroom cover, with placements ranging from daily bookings to longer-term assignments.

    What the role offers

Instead of spending evenings planning lessons or weekends marking books, you'll deliver pre-prepared learning, maintain positive classroom routines and ensure pupils continue making progress during the absence of their usual teacher.

You'll work with supportive school teams while gaining experience across a variety of educational environments, making each placement both rewarding and professionally valuable.

We're looking for educators who can demonstrate:

Experience working with children and young people.

    Excellent classroom management.

    Strong communication and organisational skills.

The ability to adapt quickly to different schools and age groups.

A confident and engaging teaching style.

A commitment to maintaining high standards of learning.

    Why choose Tradewind?
Tradewind offers a straightforward registration process, free access to over 2,500 CPD courses and webinars, holiday pay and pension schemes, plus opportunities within mainstream, SEN and alternative provision settings. Your dedicated consultant, Charlie, has more than ten years of experience supporting education professionals and will work closely with you to find placements that suit your skills and availability.
