How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Identify potential project risks and challenges, implementing proactive solutions to maintain programme and performance objectives.
Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure all compliance records are kept up to date.
Lead, mentor, and support site teams through effective supervision, performance management, and professional development initiatives.
Promote continuous improvement by driving best practices across all aspects of project delivery.

    About You

The successful candidate will be an experienced construction professional with a strong technical background and a proven ability to deliver complex projects within a main contractor environment. You will possess excellent leadership skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

    Essential Skills & Experience

Significant experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager working for a main contractor.
Strong technical understanding of construction methods, processes, and project delivery.
Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant construction discipline.
Valid SMSTS certification and CSCS Card.
Sound commercial and financial knowledge, including familiarity with NEC and JCT forms of contract.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing site teams.

    Desirable

Previous experience delivering projects within secure facilities or prison environments.
Ability to obtain security clearance where required.
