How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Training & HR Coordinator
    Location: On-site, Wembley
    Salary: £30,000 - £34,000

Talent Guardian is delighted to be partnering with a thriving food manufacturing business to appoint a Training & HR Coordinator.

This is a varied, hands-on role at the heart of a busy and diverse operation, combining the coordination of training and development with day-to-day HR support. It would suit a highly organised, people-focused individual who enjoys keeping things running smoothly, thrives on variety, and is comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity. There's genuine scope to grow, too, with the opportunity to step up and support at HR Advisor level over time.

    What you'll be doing
    Training & development

Coordinate all company inductions, including the weekly and monthly schedule and the technical elements such as food safety and allergens.
Build and maintain a comprehensive training matrix covering all processes and procedures across the business.
Monitor training expiry dates and ensure refreshers and renewals are scheduled in good time.
Organise health and safety and other training courses, and manage the suite of core online modules (for example food safety and anti-harassment training).
Run regular reports on training completion, compliance and outstanding requirements. HR support

Provide day-to-day support across the weekly HR activities, stepping up to support at HR Advisor level as you develop.
Manage the new starter process, including offer letters, onboarding and setting up new employees.
Process leavers and keep HR trackers and records accurate and up to date.
Support the payroll process with timely and accurate information. What we're looking for
    Essential

Experience in a training, HR or people-focused administrative or coordination role.
Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Confident working with spreadsheets and running reports (strong Excel skills).
Comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage a diverse workforce. Desirable

Experience within food manufacturing or another regulated environment (allergens, food safety, health and safety).
A CIPD qualification, or working towards one.
The ability to speak Hindi or Tamil would be a real advantage given the diversity of the workforce.
Exposure to payroll processes and HR systems. This is a full-time, on-site role based at our client's site in Wembley, North West London.

To apply, or for a confidential conversation about the role, please get in touch with the team at Talent Guardian. We look forward to hearing from you
