How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

My client is looking for an experienced UX Designer to join their team on an initial 3-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of customer-focused digital products within a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in user experience design and, ideally, previous experience working within the retail sector. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, engaging user experiences that meet both customer and business needs.
    Key Responsibilities
    *
Conduct user research and translate insights into user-centred design solutions.
    *
Create user personas, customer journeys, user flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes.
    *
Work closely with Product Managers, UI Designers and Developers throughout the product lifecycle.
    *
Facilitate usability testing and use findings to refine and improve designs.
    *
Present design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders.
    *
Ensure designs align with accessibility standards and UX best practices.
    *
Contribute to design systems and maintain consistency across digital products.
    *
Work within Agile delivery teams to meet project deadlines.
    Requirements
    *
Proven commercial experience as a UX Designer.
    *
A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX design across web and/or mobile platforms.
    *
Proficiency in Figma and other industry-standard design tools.
    *
Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
    *
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    *
    Experience working within Agile environments.
    Desirable
    *
Previous experience within the retail or e-commerce sector.
    *
    Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
    *
    Experience working with design systems.
    *
Familiarity with analytics tools and data-driven design.
    What's on Offer
    *
Initial 3-month contract with the potential for extension.
    *
    Competitive day rate.
    *
Hybrid working with 3 days per week onsite in London.
    *
Opportunity to work on high-profile digital products within a collaborative and innovative team.
If you're an experienced UX Designer with a passion for creating exceptional digital experiences and are available for your next contract, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today for a confidential discussion
