How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Collaborate with operations, production and marketing teams to ensure commercial commitments are delivered effectively. Essential

Demonstrable success in agricultural sales, ideally within animal bedding, poultry, livestock supplies or a closely related sector.
Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of negotiating and closing long-term B2B supply contracts.
In-depth understanding of agricultural supply chains, customer requirements and commercial dynamics.
Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute sales plans that deliver sustainable growth.
Excellent relationship-building skills with experience working alongside large agricultural businesses, estates and institutional customers.
Previous experience leading, mentoring or developing commercial team members.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
    What's on Offer

The opportunity to join a high-growth, purpose-led business making a genuine environmental impact.
A chance to shape the commercial strategy of an ambitious organisation during a key stage of growth.
Competitive salary and benefits package, including private healthcare with dental, optical and mental health support.
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase additional holiday.
