How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    What to expect:

     

    Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of raw materials to production. You will play a key role in maintaining operational continuity, driving standards and delivering performance in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

     

    Your focus will include:

    Leading and embedding a strong safety-first culture

    Developing, coaching and engaging a team to consistently deliver high standards

    Ensuring reliable supply of raw materials to production through effective planning and control

    Taking ownership of stock accuracy, storage profiles and system integrity

    Driving improvements in waste control, yield and overall efficiency

    Embedding operational excellence routines and supporting progression through OE accreditation levels

    Delivering and maintaining GMP standards across all activities

     

    You will also build strong relationships across the business, working closely with scheduling, material supply and QESH teams to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.

     

     

    Skills & Essentials:

     

    We are looking for a confident and proactive leader who thrives in a high-energy environment and is motivated to drive performance and develop people.

     

    Key requirements include:

    Demonstrable leadership experience within a manufacturing or operational setting

    Strong decision-making capability and the ability to perform under pressure

    Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels

    A proactive, self-motivated approach with a genuine drive to learn and improve

    Ability to manage competing priorities effectively and make sound judgements

    Experience or awareness of stock control, materials management or supply processes

    Knowledge of SAP or similar systems would be beneficial, but not essential
