An excellent opportunity to join a successful distributor to ensure all warehouse activities are managed and co-ordinated effectively so that target levels of productivity, quality and service are achieved within cost objectives, making optimum use of all resources.
You will be responsible for a team of colleagues in a fast moving distribution environment. The role will include the following:
* Achieving and improving KPIs
* Team motivation and building
* Maintaining stock integrity
* Warehouse planning and set up
* Dealing with absence and return to works
* Full responsibility for all functions of the site at weekends
* Floor management and MHE accountability
You’ll be a forward thinking individual with excellent organisational and communication skills. Aside from this, you’ll also need the following skills/experience:
* Experience of having managed KPIs
* The ability to lead a team in an operational environment
* Excellent communication skills
