How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Chief Architect

Hybrid Working | Microsoft Technology Leadership | Enterprise-Wide Transformation

Are you a strategic technology leader who can define the future whilst delivering real business outcomes today?

We're seeking an exceptional Chief Architect to own the enterprise architecture roadmap and act as the organisation's architectural authority across business, technology, data, digital, and cloud platforms.

This is a high-profile leadership role where you'll shape technology strategy, influence executive decision-making, and ensure architecture enables growth, innovation, operational excellence, and improved customer outcomes.

    The Opportunity

As Chief Architect, you will be responsible for defining and governing the target-state architecture across a complex Microsoft ecosystem, ensuring technology investments remain aligned to business priorities and long-term strategic objectives.

You'll lead architecture across business applications, cloud, data, integration, digital services, security, and emerging technologies, providing both enterprise-level direction and hands-on technical leadership when required.

    Key Responsibilities

Own and evolve the enterprise architecture strategy, vision, and multi-year technology roadmap.
Act as the senior architectural authority across the organisation.
Translate business strategy into practical and scalable technology solutions.
Lead architecture governance, standards, principles, and decision-making frameworks.
Drive architectural alignment across programmes, projects, and product teams.
Establish future-state architectures that support growth, innovation, security, and resilience.
Partner with executive stakeholders to influence technology investment decisions.
Lead and mentor architects across multiple domains and delivery teams.
Ensure architecture remains commercially focused, pragmatic, and outcome-driven.

    Technology Environment

You'll provide leadership across a modern Microsoft-centric technology landscape, including:

    Microsoft Azure
    Microsoft Dynamics 365 (full suite)
    Power Platform
    Microsoft Fabric
    Microsoft Data & AI Services
    Microsoft 365
    Enterprise Integration and API Platforms
Digital, Data, Cloud, and Security Architecture

    What We're Looking For

Proven experience operating as a Chief Architect, Enterprise Architect, or senior architecture leader within a complex enterprise environment.
Strong experience owning enterprise architecture roadmaps, governance, and target-state architectures.
Deep expertise across the Microsoft technology stack, including Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and data platforms.
Experience leading large-scale digital transformation and business change programmes.
Strong understanding of cloud-native, integration, data, and application architecture principles.
Ability to engage and influence executive and board-level stakeholders.
Outstanding communication, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.

    Highly Desirable

Experience within the Healthcare, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Clinical Services, or wider HealthTech sectors.
Understanding of operating within regulated environments with complex governance and compliance requirements.
Experience delivering architecture across customer, operational, clinical, and corporate business domains.

    Why Join?

This is an opportunity to shape the technology future of a major organisation where architecture is viewed as a strategic capability and critical enabler of business success.

You'll have the autonomy, influence, and executive sponsorship to create and deliver a modern architecture vision while working within a flexible hybrid environment.

Own the roadmap. Shape the strategy. Lead the transformation.
