How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Site Manager - Timber Frame Structures

    Location: London
    Salary: Up to £70,000 + Benefits

    The Opportunity

    We are working with a rapidly growing, market-leading structural specialist delivering innovative timber frame solutions across high-profile projects in sectors including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

    Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager with expertise in timber frame construction to join their expanding team.

    The Role

    As a Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of projects on-site, managing timber frame structural installations from erection through to completion.

    You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while coordinating subcontractors, site teams, and stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    Oversee day-to-day site operations across timber frame installations

    Manage subcontractors, labour, and site logistics

    Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations

    Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients

    Monitor programme, budgets, and quality standards

    Drive productivity and resolve on-site challenges efficiently

    Requirements

    Proven experience managing timber frame construction projects

    Strong background delivering large-scale construction projects

    CSCS Black Card (essential)

    Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills

    Ability to manage multiple trades and fast-paced project environments
