Hales Group are delighted to be working with a well-established and growing business in Reydon who are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative on a temporary to permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional seeking long-term employment within a supportive team environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the warehouse, maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and customer service.
Key Duties Include:
Accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders
Unloading containers and processing incoming deliveries
Using handheld scanners to locate and manage stock
Assisting with stock control, stock takes, and inventory records
Carrying out manual handling duties, including lifting heavier items
Supporting product assembly, rework, and preparation activities
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Following all company health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For:
Previous warehouse experience is essential
Flexi Forklift Licence would be advantageous but is not essential
Good IT skills and confidence using stock management systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
Reliable, adaptable, and flexible approach to work
Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential for permanent employment
Working Hours & Pay
Location: Reydon
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8:00am to 4:00pm
Days: Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x standard rate
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
